The service

Switchboard builds and hosts a website-chat AI receptionist for your business, one that answers only from answers you approved. It is not a phone service: it does not answer your phones.

Not advice, not an emergency service

The receptionist is not medical, legal, or emergency advice. Not an emergency service: the demo and product do not dispatch, prioritize, or guarantee emergency response.

Pilot

Pilot terms: 7 days, no card, every answer is yours to review, and the content we build is yours to keep. The exact day-8 terms are agreed in writing before the pilot starts. [Pending owner answer Q1: when the setup fee is due, and when it becomes non-refundable.]

Fees

Your approval

You review and approve every answer before launch. You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide; we're responsible for building what you approved.

Data

Interactive demos on this site are fictional, scripted previews; nothing you type into a demo is collected, stored, or sent anywhere. Contact-form inquiries are transmitted through our form processor FormSubmit.co and delivered to our inbox. For paying clients, booking requests (name, phone, service, preferred time) are delivered to your team, the exact delivery channel is confirmed with you during setup. Health information

If you're a covered entity, we'll sign a Business Associate Agreement, ask us before your pilot starts.

No guarantees

We make no guarantees about lead volume or conversions. Calendar, SMS, and CRM integrations are on the roadmap; we will not sell them before they ship.

Entity and governing law

Liability
